Wilda Louise Scott
Wilda Louise Scott, 86, Earling, formerly of Fort Dodge, died on Thursday, November 20, 2003, at Myrtue Memorial Hospital in Harlan.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2003, at Epworth United Methodist Church with the Rev. Roger Kurtenbach officiating. Burial will be held in the North Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 until 7 p.m. Monday at Bruce’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
Wilda was born December 5, 1916, in Lehigh, the daughter of Gilbert and Laura (Davis) McGuire. On January 19, 1950 Wilda was united in marriage to Ronald Scott in Sioux City, IA. Wilda loved sewing, cooking, reading and doing embroidery work. She enjoyed tending to her flower garden and taking care of her family. Wilda was a member of the Epworth United Methodist Church.
Wilda is survived by her; 3 sons, William J. (Cheryl) Waggoner of Oakland, IA, Danny R. (Judy) Waggoner of Appleton, WI, Robert L. (Sherri) Scott of Los Alamos, NM; 2 daughters, Carol Ann Phipps of Harlan, Wiladean G. (Dudley) Risley of Warsaw, MO; 1 brother, Gerald McGuire of Fort Dodge, IA; 1 sister, Bonnie Onnen; 15 Grandchildren and 16 Great grandchildren.
Wilda is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald in 1991, 10 brothers and sisters, 1 daughter, Elizabeth “Becki” Danielson.
