Wanda Gerth

Wanda Gerth, of Fort Dodge, died Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at the Alden Meadows Nursing Home, Clinton, Wisconsin. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday June 6, 2008 at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Geitz officiating.  Visitation will be held from 9 until 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Wanda Gena Cibert was born September 26, 1925 the daughter of Kenneth and Anna (Grinwald) Cibert in Fort Dodge, Iowa.  On July 8, 1948 Wanda was united in marriage to Donald L. Gerth.  To this union two children were born. Wanda enjoyed fishing and going roller skating.  Wanda took great pride in helping others especially the time she was able to care for her brother.  Later in life she found that she had a talent for oil painting.  Wanda was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Fort Dodge. Those thankful for having shared in Wandas life include her children; Jacqueline (Keith) Witte, Keith Gerth, one sister; Marcella (Ray) Stone, one brother; Richard (Carol) Gerth, two grandsons; Ronald (Deanna) Witte, Kevin (Ashley) Witte, five great grandchildren; Dylon, Dalton, Devon, Kolton, Alexa and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Gerth was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald and a brother Johnny Cibert.
