Vicki Steburg

Vicki Steburg, 69, of Fort Dodge, IA, died Sunday, July 5, 2020, at Unity Point – Trinity Regional Medical Center. A celebration of life gathering will be from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM on Thursday, July 9, 2020, at the VFW Post 1856, 518 S. 29th Street – Fort Dodge. Inurnment will be at a later date in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family.

Vicki was born January 15, 1951, in Fort Dodge, the daughter of Joe and Peggy (Skoland) Suhadja. She attended Fort Dodge Senior High. On October 20, 1989, she was united in marriage to Donald “Donny” Steburg in Reno, NV. Over the years, Vicki worked at Starlite Village (waitress), Paul Revere's Pizza (owner/operator), Sandstone Inn (waitress), Gramps Lounge (owner/operator), and Fort Dodge Senior High (cook and lunch lady). Vicki enjoyed keeping track of her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking, baking, casino trips and yard work – especially mowing.

Vicki is survived by her husband of 30 years: Donny Steburg of Fort Dodge; 6 children: Jody Canavan (Patrick), Julie Hiracheta (Ernie), Stacy Bass, Janese Steburg, David “Paco” Edward Steburg and Donald “Duck” Edward Steburg Jr. - all of Fort Dodge; 15 grandchildren; several great and great great grandchildren; nephew: Jerry LaBaume; and brother-in-law: James Purkapile.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister: Judy LaBaume.
