Vicki J. (Severson) Mumper

Vickie J. (Severson) Mumper, 77, of Webster City, IA, died Monday, November 22, 2021, at Iowa Specialty Hospital in Clarion, IA. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, November 29, 2021, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1229 Kathy Lane – Webster City, with Pastor Craig Miller officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will take place at Washington Lutheran Cemetery in Duncombe, IA.

Vicki was born June 10, 1944, in Webster City, the daughter of Jacob and Ester (Anderson) Severson. She attended Webster City Schools and was confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Webster City. Vicki was united in marriage to Lyle Faulkner. The couple later divorced. She later married Jerry Thorn and Oliver Mumper. Vicki was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family – especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed nature, birds and a nice cold drink.

Vicki is survived by 5 children: Rick Faulkner of Webster City, Robin Faulkner of Webster City, Rinda Faulkner of Webster City, Reggie Clark and husband Jeff of Thor, IA, and Jerry Thorn and wife Danay of Knoxville, IA; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; sister: Mary Housburg and husband Don of Corpus Christi, TX; and ex-husband: Lyle Faulkner of Webster City. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 husbands: Jerry Thorn and Oliver Mumper; 5 siblings: Leonard Severson, John Severson, Roger Severson, Richard Severson and Donna Jaycox; and 2 grandchildren: Luke Faulkner and Sada Hazel.
