Tom E. Van Every
Tom E. Van Every, 63, of Duncombe, died Monday May 24, 2010 at the Trinity Regional Medical Center.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday May 28, 2010 at the Washington Township Cemetery, Duncombe, with the Rev. Dennis Shepherd officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home.
Tom was born January 26, 1947 the son of Emery and Eleanor (Crandon) Van Every in Mason City, Iowa. On February 4, 1967 Tom was united in marriage to Patsy Umbaugh in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Tom was currently employed at the Van Diest Supply Company as a forklift operator.
Tom loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. He was looking forward to an up coming fishing trip. He enjoyed bowling, watching NASCAR, and going to the local stock car races. Tom was a member of the Family Bowling League and the Brushy Creek Bass Club.
Those thankful for having shared in Toms life include his wife, Pat, two children, Kenneth (Marsha) Van Every, Rebecca (Troy) Crampton, one sister, Mary E. (Dean) Steinkamp, three brothers, David (Tammy) Van Every, Kevin Van Every, Randy (Sherri) Van Every, six grandchildren, Cassie, Tanner, Hunter, Tori, Mackenzie, Hallie, and numerous extended family.
