Tobie Lee Garrett

Tobie Lee Garrett, 58, of Badger, IA, and formerly of Fort Dodge, IA, died Saturday, November 21, 2020, at his home. Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family.

Tobie was born July 21, 1962, in Fort Dodge, the son of Bill Sr. and Edna (Smith) Garrett. He attended Fort Dodge Public Schools. Tobie was a go-getter who enjoyed working and made carpentry his lifelong career. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, mushroom hunting, nature and being outdoors.

Tobie is survived 3 children: Jesse Garrett of Fort Dodge, Seth Garrett and girlfriend Nicole Roest of Duncombe, IA, and Lyndsey M. Florey and husband Billy of El Cajon, CA; 10 grandchildren: Kenyon Garrett, Cooper Garrett, Nylez Towne, Jayvynn Garrett, Ze-Dynn Garrett, Jonathan Florey, Ryan Florey, Hailey Roest, Zoey Roest and Colby Roest; and 4 siblings: Bill Garrett Jr. and wife Nana of Pocahontas, IA, Kim Garrett of Fort Dodge, Robin Rolling and husband Corey of Fort Dodge and Nancy Blaha and husband Kevin of Fort Dodge. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother: Stanley Garrett.
