Terry L. Davies

Terry L. Davies, 64 of Gowrie, died Friday, April 9, 2004 at the Trinity Regional Medical Center, Fort Dodge.

A gathering to reflect on Terry’s life will be held from 10:30 until 11:30 am Monday April 12, 2004 at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Center. The flag of the United States will be presented to Terry’s family in recognition of his service to the United States Navy by the VFW Post 1856 of Fort Dodge.

Terrell Lee Davies was born September 16, 1939 in Yankton, SD. His family moved to Fort Dodge as while Terry was a young child.

Over the years Terry has worked at many jobs but most recently was employed by American Can. Terry loved to fish especially when he could make a trip north to Minnesota to enjoy the vast number of lakes and outdoor recreational areas. As a younger man Terry participated in a bowling league and enjoyed taking cared of horses.

Those thankful for having shared in terry’s life include his two daughters, Monica Murray and friend John Kelley of New Providence, IA, Stacey Davies of Lehigh, his mother Delora Jones of Fort Dodge, one half sister, Annette Viers of Bismarck, ND, four grandchildren, Erin and Emily Murray, and Whitney and Amanda Davies, and a very special friend Mary Orness.

Mr. Davies was preceded in death by his step father Roy Jones, and one brother Bob Davies.
