Shirley J. Siefert
Shirley J. Siefert, 78, of Webster City, died Wednesday June 25, 2008 at the Israel Hospice House, Ames, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Epworth United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. James H. Chesnutt officiating. Interment will be held in North Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 until 7 p.m. today at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home.
Shirley J. Richardson was born March 12, 1930 the daughter of Carl and Gladys (Meyer) Richardson in Lehigh, Iowa.
Shirley loved being a homemaker and enjoyed working hard to keep her home in a particular manner. She was a people person who loved to visit and spend time with her brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and even had time for her friends. Shirley returned from a stay in Arizona with her daughter to move into Windsor Manor in Webster City. As a resident there she became attached to the game of bingo. Shirley was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church.
Those thankful for having shared in Shirleys life include her children; Pamela Ann (Ward) Gappa of Scottsdale, Arizona, Debbie J. (Chuck) Hurt of Missoula, Montana, Troy (Julie) Siefert of Ames, Iowa, four sisters; Phyllis Clymer, Delores Carrier, Kay Rogers, Janet McKinney, two brothers; Carl Richardson, Tom Richardson, five grandchildren; Shelly Johnson, Tammy Maynard, Carla Hurt, Jamie Fetzer, Morgan Siefert, five great grandchildren; McKenzie, Kyle, Cole, Courtney, Bryce and numerous nieces and nephews.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents.
