Shawna Phillips

Shawna Sue Gordon Phillips, 28, of Coalville, died Sunday February 5, 2006.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday February 11, 2006 at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Center.  Officiating will be The Reverend Stephen M. Hall.   Interment will follow in the North Lawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Friday from 5 until 9 p.m.

Shawna was born November 13, 1977 the daughter of Terry and Laura (Arends) Gordon in Iowa City, IA.  She attended Fort Dodge Senior High School and later graduated from LaJames International College.

Shawna was very family oriented with her number one priority being her children.  She was known to put her heart and soul into every hairstyle she created.  In her youth Shawna loved gymnastics, swimming, and going to the lake.  She truly loved her friends and the time she spent with them.

Those left to cherish her memory are her four children: Drew, Sky and Kane Phillips, and Tyce Gordon; parents: Laura (Brad) Lennon, Terry and special friend Vicki Marten; one sister: Jennifer Gordon; one brother: Christopher Gordon; two step-brothers: Ronny and Aaron Lennon; grandparents: Wayne and Shirley Arends, Rosalie Lennon; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Shawna was preceded in death by her grandparents: Theodore and Madeline Gordon, and Richard Lennon I; one step-brother: Jamie Lennon; and one cousin Todd Sboboda.
