Sharon E. Thorn

Sharon E. Thorn, 81, of Fort Dodge, IA, went to her heavenly home Thursday afternoon on September 26, 2024. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, September 30, 2024, at the Historic Bruce Funeral Home, 923 1st Avenue South, with Rev. Kendall Meyer of St. Paul Lutheran Church officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at Union Cemetery in Humboldt, IA. Memorials may be directed to the family. 

Sharon was born in Waterloo, IA, on November 18, 1942, to the late Sherwood and Mildred Hiveley. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband: Fred Tozier; and her second husband: Rodger Thorn. Sharon is survived by her brother: Dale (Donna) Hiveley of St. Paul, MN and her sister: Joyce Phillips of Colorado Springs, CO; and many nieces and nephews.
