Scott A. Brayton

Scott Andrew Brayton, 62, of Badger, IA, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at his home. A public celebration of life will be held later this summer. Arrangements are with Historic Bruce Funeral Home of Fort Dodge. 

Scott was born on January 11th, 1962, and grew up in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He was the son of the late Wesley and Norma Brayton. Over the years, Scott did auto body work and excavation. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, riding dirt bikes and watching his son Justin race.

Survivors include daughter Shawna (Brad) Schmidt of Kamrar, son Justin (Paige) Brayton of Charlotte, North Carolina, daughter Amy (Mike) Peterson of Fort Dodge, son Dru Brayton of Lindsay, Oklahoma, 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Scott is preceded in death by his parents Wesley and Norma Brayton.
