Sarah L. Olsen

Sarah L. Olsen, age 87, of Fort Dodge died on November 13, 2019, at the Paula J. Baber Hospice House in Fort Dodge. Her wishes were to be cremated. Private graveside services will be held at a future date at St. Olaf Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the family.

Sarah was born on March 20, 1932 in Vincent, Iowa to Lewis and Hattie (Wickerink) Olsen. She worked at the Credit Bureau of Fort Dodge, Inc. for twenty years, and retired after seventeen years at Arrowhead AEA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Laura Lawrence, Julie Wilshusen, and Olive Nichols; and brothers Carl Olsen, Leonard Olsen, and Otto Olsen. Survivors include her sister Esther Albrecht, and brothers Olaf Olsen and Oscar Olsen, and several nieces and nephews.

She was a member of Saint Olaf Lutheran Church.
