Sandra Sandy M. Lowrey

Sandra Sandy M. Lowrey, 62, of Fort Dodge, died Sunday, March 25, 2012 at her home.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2012 at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Sandy was born August 2, 1949 the daughter of Vernon and Lois (Jones) Harvey in Seattle Washington. Over the years Sandy has worked at the Otho Convenience Store and Mineral City Speedway.

Sandy enjoyed being outdoors especially when she was camping or at the races. She cherished her grandchildren and the fun they had together. She looked forward to going with her Mom to search all the garage sales for those precious frogs she was known to collect. She enjoyed bowling with Denny over the years and was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

Those thankful for having shared in Sandras life include her husband, Denny, mother, Lois Harvey of Fort Dodge, daughters, Brandi (Rod) Teigland of Odebolt, IA, Kim McCubbin and her fiancé Ben of Gowrie, IA, one sister, Candi (Boomer) Juelfs of Hastings, MN, two brothers, Nick (Terri) Harvey of Fort Dodge, IA, Chuck Harvey of Ardmore, OK, four grandchildren, Jordon, Katie, Elizabeth and Hanna.

Mrs. Lowrey was preceded in death by her father Vernon Harvey.
