Roy A. Rowe

Roy A. Rowe, 66, of Fort Dodge, IA, died Sunday, June 30, 2019, at his home. A gathering of family and friends will be from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM on Sunday, July 14, 2019, at Dolliver Memorial State Park (Central Lodge), 2757 Dolliver Park Avenue – Lehigh, IA. Memorials may be directed to the family.

Roy was born May 17, 1953, in Fort Dodge, the son of William and Louise (Voss) Rowe. He graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High, and continued his education at Iowa Central Community College in First Responder training. He then attended Hunter Engineering Company in Missouri where he was trained in truck alignment. Over the years, Roy worked for Consolidated Co-Op in Gowrie, IA, Firestone in Fort Dodge and Decker Truck Line in Fort Dodge. Roy enjoyed fishing and spending time with family. He was a former member of the Harcourt Fire Department.

Roy is survived by many family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters: Merilyn Miller and Sheila Cox; brother: William “Buzz” Rowe; and a son: Brock Rowe.
