Ricky W. Scoggins

Ricky W. Scoggins, 63, of Fort Dodge, IA, died Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Regional Medical Center.  Private family services will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are with Historic Bruce Funeral Home of Fort Dodge.  

Ricky was born June 24, 1960, in South Carolina, the son of Tom J. and Lena M. (Garner) Scoggins. He is the youngest of 5 boys. He graduated from Colonial High School in 1978. He loved listening to music and playing the drums. He also enjoyed reading and watching the History channel. 

Ricky is survived by his daughter:  Vanessa (Josann) Scoggins of Longwood, FL; and 3 brothers:  Randy (Marie) Scoggins, Danny (Kathy) Scoggins, and Brian (Connie) Scoggins.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Shalain; and a brother:  Tony Scoggins.
