Richard “Rich” Anthony Doolittle, 41, of Fort Dodge, died Saturday, December 25, 2021, at his home. Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are with Historic Bruce Funeral Home of Fort Dodge. Memorials may be directed to the family.

Richard was born October 12, 1980, in San Jose, CA, the son of Clay and Diana (Peters) Doolittle. He graduated from Rogers High School in Puyallup, WA in 1999. Richard enlisted in the U.S. Army National Guard and was deployed to Iraq in 2003. He received his certification in pipe welding and worked as a union pipefitter. On November 26, 2014, he was united in marriage to Amanda Lee Miller in Washington, IA. Rich enjoyed hunting and shooting. He was a member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local Union 33 in Des Moines, IA.

Rich is survived by his wife Amanda Doolittle and their two children Gunner and Reign of Riverside, IA; his first wife Marissa Munson and their daughter Jordan Doolittle of Puyallup, WA; his parents Clay and Diana Doolittle of Puyallup; brother Michael Doolittle of Sumner, WA; and his half-sister Bonnie Ganther of California. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
