Rhonda Ann Willison

Rhonda Ann Willison, 50, of Humboldt, IA, died Monday, June 13, 2022, at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Regional Medical Center.  Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 8, 2022, at the Historic Bruce Funeral Home, 923 1st Avenue South, with Rev. John Elkin officiating.  A celebration of life gathering of family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service.  Memorials may be directed to the family.

Rhonda was born October 13, 1971, in Lake City, IA, the daughter of Roger W. and Theresa A. (Loeffler) Willison.   She graduated from Southern Cal High School in 1990, and continued her education at DMACC in Carroll, IA.  Over the years, Rhonda worked in many nursing homes and traveled around for home health care.  Rhonda enjoyed spending time with her family – especially her grandsons.  She also enjoyed spending time with her many friends, coloring, fishing, bird watching, Hawkeye basketball, and taking care of her two dogs:  Milo and Oreo.

Rhonda is survived by her son:  Sheldon Willison of Humboldt; 2 grandsons:  Brantley Willison and Kaden Willison; parents:  Roger and Theresa Willison of Rockwell City, IA; 3 siblings:  Ryan Willison and his 2 children:  Mickayla and Meghan of Farnhamville, IA, Randy Willison of Rockwell City, and Tristin Janning and husband Nick and their 2 children:  Presley and Gunner of Scranton, IA.  She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents:  Anthony and Dorothy Loeffler & Bill and Beulah Willison; 5 uncles; 2 aunts; and 1 cousin.
