Reedy K. Drake

Reedy K. Drake, 68, of Fort Dodge, IA, died Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Regional Medical Center. Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family. Arrangements are with Historic Bruce Funeral Home of Fort Dodge. 

Reedy was born October 24, 1955, in Nashville, TN, the son of Roy Kenneth and Norma Mae (Conerd) Drake. He grew up in Chicago and graduated from Lake View High School in Chicago. Reedy served in the U.S. Marines from 1969 – 1973. He was a roofer for most of his life until his retirement in 2020. Reedy enjoyed the outdoors, fixing cars and helping people.

Reedy is survived by 2 siblings: Rebecca A. Price of Prescott Valley, AZ and Keneye G. Drake of Prescott, AZ.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his great niece goddaughter: Alassa Kowalsky.
