Raymond Mallinger

Raymond Mallinger, 80, of Fort Dodge, IA, died Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at the Fort Dodge Villa Care Center. Private family services will be held at a later date.

Raymond was born December 4, 1940, in Fort Dodge, the son of John F. and Mary Ellen (Streff) Mallinger. He attended Fort Dodge Senior High. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and proudly served his country until his honorable discharge. Raymond enjoyed gardening, farming and being outdoors. He also enjoyed attending auctions and flea markets.

Raymond is survived by 4 children: Chris Hobson and husband Kenny of Texarkana, AZ, Jeff Mallinger and wife Missi of Fort Dodge, Mike Mallinger and wife Paula of Fort Dodge, and Kirk Mallinger and wife Kim of Fort Dodge; 4 grandchildren: Deanna, Trevor, Stacie and Zach; 3 great grandchildren: Danielle, Riley and Clayton; and 2 brothers: Jack Mallinger and wife Joann of West Des Moines, IA and Charles Mallinger of Knierim, IA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and 10 siblings.
