Patricia “Patti” K. Stewart, 65, of Coalville, IA, died Saturday, August 3, 2024, at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family. Arrangements are with Historic Bruce Funeral Home of Fort Dodge. 

Patricia was born May 10, 1959, in Fort Dodge, the daughter of Logan and Kathleen (McKernan) Edwards. She graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High and later continued her education at Culinary School. On April 1, 2000, she was united in marriage to Dennis Stewart at the National Guard Armory. She worked at Electrolux/Webster City Products and Starlite until her retirement in 2018. Patti had a deep-rooted love for her family and cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren. She had a green thumb and found joy in nurturing her plants and flowers. Patti loved cooking and baking. She crafted many delicious meals and treats over the years. Her passion for bird watching brought her closer to nature, with a particular fondness for Orioles, hummingbirds and wrens. Additionally, she valued the tradition of Sunday brunches shared with her beloved sisters.

Patti is survived by her husband of 24 years: Dennis Stewart of Coalville; 4 children: Jesse Helmers of Omaha, NE, Hope Webb of Algona, IA, Travis Stewart and wife Ali of Fort Dodge and Josh Stewart-Echevarria of Fort Dodge; numerous grandchildren; and 9 siblings: Ramona Daisy of Fort Dodge, Cindy Jessen of Webster City, IA, Phil Edwards of California, Theresa Edwards of Fort Dodge, Bob Edwards and wife Gladys of Sioux City, IA, Norman Edwards and wife Linda of Coalville, Kevin Edwards and wife Peggy of Badger, IA, Jim Edwards and wife Sheila of Fort Dodge, and her twin brother: Brian Edwards and wife Marcia of Livermore, IA. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter: Angie Stewart; brother: George Edwards and wife Merle; and brother-in-law: George Daisy.
