Norris Porky Gerrard, Jr

Norris Porky Gerrard, Jr., 74, of Manson, died Friday May 20, 2011 at the Manson Good Samaritan Center.

Memorial services will be held at 5 p.m. Monday, May 23, 2011 at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held from 3 until 5 p.m. on Monday.

Porky was born August 20, 1936 the son of Norris F. and Mae (Ackerman) Gerrard in Fort Dodge, Iowa.  Porky was united in marriage to Donna Dillevin and the couple had two children.  Following Donnas death Porky was united in marriage to Kathye Jean Allen.  Porky worked for the Fort Dodge Street Dept. for many years.

Porky loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting and just tinkering with anything he could find.  He was an avid Hawkeye fan and a member of Ducks Unlimited and Pheasants Forever.

Those thankful for having shared in Porkys life include his son, Rick (Roxanne) Gerrard, one sister, Marti Cromwell, two grandchildren, Jordan and Keegan.  He is also survived by J.R., Mitch and Margo Cromwell, Cameron (Gwen) Seeley, Thane, Jocelyn, Clarissa and Caiden Seeley, Chris, Desiree and Katrina Seeley.

Mr. Gerrard was preceded in death by his parents, two wives, Donna and Kathye, one son, Randy, two sisters, Leann and Liz.
