A memorial gathering will be held Tuesday, February 9, 2016 from 2pm until 4 pm at the Historic Bruce Funeral Home in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Norma Jean Bradley passed away on January 24, 2016,
with family members surrounding her. Norma was born in Independence, Iowa to Roy and Lyida Morerie. At age 3 she was adopted by Louie and Mary Hausworth and raised in Havelock, Iowa. She married Edwin Keith Bradley, November 23, 1958 in Sioux City, Iowa. They moved to Fort Dodge in 1965 where they raised three sons Michael, Mark, and Matthew. She was proceeded in death by her husband Keith, her sister Flo, and her brothers George, Jim, Allen, and Dean. She is survived by her sister Doris, brother Glen and three sons Michael, Mark (Jan), Matthew and her grandchildren Alicia, Matthew Jr, Adam, Joshua, Sarah, Samantha.
Norma lived a life of serving others. She had an in home daycare and later took care of elderly people so they could stay at home in their homes, most until they passed. But what Norma loved best was having a house where her children and their friends could hang out. She was remembered for many generations of fun. She loved taking her sons and grandchildren to Crawford Park to spend time in and teach them about nature. She was very creative with everything from dried flower arrangements to worm art using real worms to paint for her. Because she didnt drive she was seen walking all over town, for a long time up to ten miles a day. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
