Michelle Fredericksen

Michelle Fredericksen 52 of Moorland died Sunday, February 7, at the Paul J. Baber Hospice Home.  Funeral Services will be Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Historic Bruce Funeral Home in Fort Dodge.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services.  Spring interment will occur in Union Cemetery in Humboldt.

Michelle Renay (Strong) Fredericksen was born May 31, 1963 in Fort Dodge, Iowa to John and JoAnne (Butrick) Strong. She attended elementary school in Fort Dodge and graduated from Cedar Valley High School in Farnhamville in 1981. She was united in marriage to Bob Fredericksen in 1984. They later divorced. Michelle's hobbies included interior design, horses, volleyball, hunting and shopping. She loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children; Shanda Fredericksen of Gowrie and Brandon Fredericksen of Moorland, grandchildren; Jordan Konvalinka, Kailey Konvalinka, Degan Friesth and Khendrick Fredericksen. She is also survived by her father, John Strong of Moorland and three sisters; Roxanne Hurtt, Trisha Buffington, and Rachel Peterson. She was preceded in death by her mother JoAnne Strong and brother Rickey Lynn Strong.
