Michael Mills Hendrickson, 55, of Fort Dodge, died Saturday, August 22, 2009 at his residence.Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 27, 2009 at the Salvation Army Chapel with the Capt. Danielle Shield officiating.Michael was born May 1, 1954 the son of Leo S. and Thelma (Mills) Hendrickson in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He graduated from FDSH in 1974 and continued his education at Iowa Central Community College. While attending ICCC, Michael worked at New Idea. He was later employed at Frontier Communications for several years and most recently in Webster City at Webster City Products.Michael loved working on the computer as well as taking time to go fishing. He enjoyed working with his hands doing wood carving and putting model cars together.Those thankful for having shared in Michaels life include three sisters: Judy (Jim) McCormick, Beryl (Jim) Leber, and Elizabeth Hendrickson, two brothers: Jack (Janice) Hendrickson, Joe (Pete) Hendrickson, special friend: Kim Garrett, life long friends: Gary and Bev Vote, sister in law: Sharon Hendrickson, brother in law: Charlie Eastman and many nieces and nephews.Mr. Hendrickson was preceded in death by his parents, twin brother Patrick, brothers: George, twin boys Mark and Gene, an infant sister Patty, special cousin Janet Walden. Michael and his sister Mary Lynn Eastman died on the same day and entered heaven together.
