Merium A. Mumper
Merium A. Mumper, 95, of Humboldt, died Thursday, May 4, 2006 at the Humboldt Care Center North.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 9 at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Center with the Rev. David Grindberg officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Greenfield Township Cemetery, rural Knierim. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Tuesday.
Merium was born January 15, 1911 the daughter of Gust and Anna (Solheim) Friesth in Fort Dodge. She attended the Colfax Township School through the 8th grade. In 1934 she was united in marriage to Arnold Schulze. She later married Roy Mumper in 1948. Both of Meriums husbands have preceded her in death.
In her free time she enjoyed crocheting and was a member of a bowling team for several years. She also enjoyed her time outside gardening.
Those thankful for having shared in Meriums life include her children; Garold Schulze of Humboldt, Audrey Kramer of Humboldt and Sharon Schulze of Dakota City, three brothers; Glenn Friesth of Arizona, Mervin Friesth of Colorado and Wilmer Friesth of South Dakota; six grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; three step-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Merium is preceded in death by her two husbands, parents and three brothers; Irwin, Edward and Richard.
