Mary Nellie Fuller
Mary Nellie Ellen Fuller, 88, of Fort Dodge, died Monday, October 16, 2007 at the Fort Dodge Villa Care. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday October 19, 2007 in the Chapel of Bruce-Graham Funeral Home and 11a.m at Holy Rosary Church with the Rev. Tim Johnson officiating at the Mass of Christian burial. Interment will follow in the North Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 until 8 p.m. Thursday at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home. Mary was born September 18, 1919 the daughter of Nicholas John and Esther (Hughes) Burns. On October 6, 1945 Mary was united in marriage to Cecil W. Fuller in Kansas City, MO. Cecil and Mary loved to fish and often would jump in the car and head for one of numerous favorite fishing spots. She enjoyed many crafting activities including crocheting and knitting. Mary was very particular about her flower gardens especially her prized rose bushes. She would spend hours in the yard enjoying the outdoors and making sure everything was prim and proper. Mary had a strong faith and enjoyed her attendance at church. Mary was a member of Holy Rosary Parish for over 40 years. Mary is survived by step children, step grandchildren, one sister; Margaret Haack of Fort Dodge, numerous nieces and nephews including; Robert (Helon) Haack of Montgomery, AL, Richard (Carol) Haack of Fort Dodge, David (Grace) Haack of Wappingers Falls, NY and Donald (Brenda) Haack of Sutherland, IA. Mrs. Fuller was preceded in death by her parents; husband Cecil and one sister Catherine Gavin.
