Martha Jacobson Beeh
Martha B. Jacobson Beeh, 85 of Fort Dodge died Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at the Trinity Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday March 31, 2012 at the First Covenant Church with Allan Redenius officiating. Interment will follow at 12:30 p.m. in the Lost Grove Cemetery, Harcourt. Visitation will be held from 4 until 7 p.m. Friday at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home or to the First Covenant Church Youth.
Martha was born October 21, 1926 the daughter of Lloyd and Helen (Hiatt) May in Fairfax, Missouri. In April of 1950 Martha was united in marriage to Dale Jacobson. To this union four children were born. Dale passed away in 1968. Several years later Martha was united in marriage to Edward Beeh in November 1980.
Marthas passion for her church showed through her participation in numerous church activities. Her quilting talents were comparable to none. She took her supplies wherever she went and was always giving her quilted items away. She loved to bake and share her goodies with her family and friends. But Marthas true joy was having family around and spend quality time with each of them. Martha was a member of the Quilt Club and the First Covenant Church.
Those thankful for having shared in Marthas life include her children, Barry (Roberta) Jacobson of Sioux Falls, SD, Kirk (Karen) Jacobson of Arnolds Park, IA, Ron (Kathy) Jacobson of Fort Dodge, IA, Lisa (Kevin) McCartney of Newton, IA, step children, Deborah (Douglas) Gambrall of Anderson, IN, Diane (Tim) Hancock of Fort Dodge, IA, Edward Beeh III and his wife Beth Ann of Phoenix, AZ, one brother, John (Rose) May of Jefferson, IA, two sisters, Virginia (Doyle) Carlson of Jefferson, IA, Mary Dawson of Huntington Beach, CA, brother in law, Richard Ziems of Fort Dodge, IA eight grandchildren, eight step grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Mrs. Beeh was preceded in death by her husbands, Dale Jacobson, Edward Beeh, a sister, Margaret Ziems and a grandson Adam Jacobson.
