Marlene Wentorf

Gathering of family and friends of Marlene Wentorf 74 of Otho will be Saturday, August 22, 2015 from 4 to 6 at 325 Avenue G in Fort Dodge.  She died Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at the Fort Dodge Villa Care Center.  Marlene Joyce Wentorf was born November 14, 1940 in Fort Dodge, Iowa to Fritz and Ruby Wentorf.  She grew up in Fort Dodge and graduated from Fort Dodge Public Schools.  She worked as  a CNA at Trinity Regional Hospital for over thirty years and also worked in housekeeping at Days Inn for over ten years.  In her spare time she enjoyed fishing.

She is survived by her daughter, Valerie (Wade) Porter of Fort Dodge, three grandchildren; Christopher (Nicole) Porter, Skyla Porter and Levi Porter and two great grandchildren, Hayden and Brantley.  She is also survived by her brother Dale (LeAnn) Wentorf of Indiana.  She was preceded in death by her parents.
