Marilyn Lee Vinchattle

Services for Marilyn Lee Vinchattle 81 of Fort Dodge, will be 1pm Saturday January 16, 2016 at Historic Bruce Funeral Home in Fort Dodge with Rev. Matthew Manz officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 5-7 pm at the funeral home and will continue one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

Marilyn (Anderson) Vinchattle was born February 15, 1934 in Fort Dodge, Iowa to Ernest and Gladys (Stanek) Anderson. She grew up and attended schools in Fort Dodge.She was united in marriage to Gary Vinchattle. To this union three children were born, Vicki, Denis and Julie. The couple later divorced. Marilyn worked as a pharmacy tech at K-Mart for many years, working hard to support her family. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed lunches with her best friends, Dorothy and Joyce. She also enjoyed going to the casino. Marilyn was a member of the Lupus Foundation, AARP and Grace Lutheran Church.

Marilyn Lee Vinchattle died at her home in Fort Dodge, Iowa on January 10, 2016.

She is survived by her children; Vicki (Layne) Pearson of Eagan, MN, Denis Vinchattle of Fort Dodge and Julie Rabbitt of Gowrie, grandchildren; Carrie Pelz, Zack Pearson and Tyler “LoLo” Pearson, and great grandchildren; Kenzie and Trevin.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, a stillborn sister. Anna Rose Anderson and two brothers; Robert “Bob” Anderson and Roger Anderson.
