Marian M. McDowell

Marian Mardell McDowell passed away at Valley Oaks Rehabilitation & Senior Living in Camden, Arkansas on January 10th, 2009. She was born in Maple Hill, Iowa on July 2, 1924.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Percy McDowell; her parents Herbert Sr. & Marge Patterson; daughter; Barbara Peterson; sister, Lavon Moore and brother Herbert Patterson, Jr.

Mrs. McDowell is survived by three sons, Roger McDowell of San Antonio, Texas; Ronald McDowell of Perry, Iowa; Richard McDowell of Rogers, Arkansas; daughters Beverly Brown of Ft. Dodge, Iowa; Bonnie Stanfill of Camden, Arkansas; Brenda McDowell of Omaha, Nebraska; sisters Maxine Brones of Estherville, Iowa and Margie Richardson of Lake Crystal, Minnesota. Her family also includes 19 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 5 great great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home with the Rev. Stephen Peters officiating. Interment will follow in the Fort Dodge Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
