Lynn was born June 1, 1957, in Fort Dodge, the daughter of Fred and Ann W. (Bjelke) Conell. She attended St Edmond and Fort Dodge Sr High. Over the years, Lynn worked various jobs where she could showcase her people skills. One of her favorites was telephone sales. She retired due to various health challenges in early 2000. Lynn enjoyed spending time with her family – especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed crafting, painting (she painted everything), and growing and sprouting plants. She had a real green thumb. Lynn was definitely a cat person and loved taking care of and spending time with her cats: “Bubba” and “Baby”. She loved her children so very much and loved people to what some would say was a fault, but it wasn't. She was giving and generous to everyone. She always wanted to feed everybody, especially her fan ky. She must have thought her son Ricky couldn't get enough to eat. Lynn was also known to boil the same cup of coffee over and over again, oh, and possibly spill it a couple times. She had a beautiful smile and her own special fragrance mixed with patchouli, that one could never forget. We loved it!!
Lynn had a strong faith in God, always saw the best in people and was always willing to help anyone in need. She was a member of Winds of Fire Church.
Lynn is survived by 2 children: Yolanda Huber and husband David of Cedar Rapids, IA and Richard “Ricky” Ayala and wife Emily of Fort Dodge; 9 grandchildren: Ezra Reiners, Tiernan Huber, Maija Langford and husband James, Thor Huber, Isabella Huber, Cianna Pritchard, Gabriel Ayala, Victory Ayala and Creed Ayala; 2 great grandchildren: Braeson and Ryker; and her siblings: Alan, Randy, David, Terri, Scott, Tressi and Kriby. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister: Kelly; and niece: Tiffany Conell.
