Linda Lou Johnson, 57, of Fort Dodge, IA, died Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Unity Point – Trinity Regional Medical Center. A celebration of life service will be held at Noon on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at The Salvation Army, 126 N. 7th Street.
Linda was born November 30, 1964, in Salina, KS, the daughter of Otis F. and Josephine (McBride) Johnson. She graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High in 1983. Linda worked at McDonald’s for a short time before becoming a nanny to her nieces and nephews. Linda enjoyed reading books, helping others, playing BINGO with her friends, and taking care of her cats: Smokey and Baby. She was a member of The Salvation Army (Womens Club).
Linda is survived by 8 siblings: Roxanne Urbank, Cheryl Gribble of Fort Dodge, Duane Johnson and wife Nancy of Wisconsin, Jerry Michael Johnson of Fort Dodge, Tina Harrison of Fort Dodge, Colleen Castor of Fort Dodge, James Johnson of Fort Dodge, and Otis Johnson and wife Rose of Fort Dodge; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her best friend: Sharon of Fort Dodge.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and 2 siblings: Vicky Scott and Tommy Johnson.
