Julius “Butch” Raymond Buelt, 78, of Fort Dodge, passed away on September 7th, 2023 in his home. Memorial services for family and friends will be held at a future date. Arrangements are with Historic Bruce Funeral Home of Fort Dodge.
Julius was born on May 4th, 1945 to Anna and Anton Buelt. Julius was born and raised in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He attended and graduated from St. Edmond Catholic School. During his life Julius had two children, Gary Buelt and Tina (Buelt) Pederson, whom he raised in Iowa. He worked at various manufacturing locations in the Fort Dodge area ranging from laborer to foreman. Julius cared deeply for others, he was always giving to those in need. He enjoyed spending time with his animals, Kirby and Calico. Julius was a man of faith who lived by the saying, “Live well, Love much, Laugh often.”
Julius was preceded in death by his mother, Anne Buelt, father Anton Buelt, brothers Lloyd, Bernard, and Robert Buelt and sister Donna Kapaun, his daughter in law Carol Buelt, and his beloved dog Kirby.
He is survived by his son Gary Buelt, daughter Tina (Richard) Pederson, his four grandchildren Christopher (Harley) Mallinger, Ashley Fuller, Haley (Christopher) Hundley, Hannah (Kane Reynolds) Pederson, and his five great-grandchildren Dakota, Dylan, and Avery Buelt, Charlotte Hundley, and Kinsley Reynolds, and siblings Marlene Reinsch, Mardell Alig, Sirley Krueger, Jerry Buelt, Carol Gute, and Sandy Graves.
