Judith “Judi” E. Law, Vegas, NV, and formerly of Fort Dodge, IA, died Thursday, May 21, 2020, at Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, June 10, 2020, at North Lawn Cemetery in Fort Dodge, with Msgr. Kevin McCoy of Holy Trinity Parish officiating. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing must be followed by attendees. Memorials may be directed to the Children's Service Guild of Southern Nevada, P.O. Box 44309 Las Vegas, NV 89116.
Judith Brayton was born December 13, 1945, in Park Falls, WI, the daughter of Glenn and Verda E. (Shoopman) Brayton. She attended Fort Dodge Senior High. On December 20, 1963, she was united in marriage to Larry Law in Fort Dodge. The couple moved to Las Vegas in 1988. Judi enjoyed spending time with her family – they meant the world to her. She also enjoyed camping, sewing, painting, arts and crafts. She was an awesome cook and “one of a kind” always had a joke and a smile on her face. Judi was a volunteer for Children's Service Guild in Las Vegas.
Judi is survived by her husband of 56 years: Larry Law; daughter: Erin Law; son: Ryan Law and wife Shelley; 4 grandchildren: Justin Korf and wife Megan, Jordan Ahey and husband Andrew, Joshua Law and wife Amber and Jeremy Law; 3 great grandchildren: Kadynce Korf, Cepriona Snyder and Mason Ahey - all of Las Vegas. She is also survived by 3 siblings: Donald Brayton, Naomi Soetebeer and Carol Swanson and husband William, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and 5 siblings: William Brayton, Joann Ehrhardt, Patty Larson, Doris Koppe and Bonnie Halligan.
