Judith Ann Jamieson

Funeral services for Judith A Jamieson 74 of Fort Dodge, IA will be Monday, June 26, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Fort Dodge with Rev. Austin Hill officiating. Visitation will be Sunday 4pm to 6pm at the Historic Bruce Funeral Home in Fort Dodge. Visitation will continue on Monday at the church one hour prior to services. Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery. Judy died at her home on Wednesday, June 21, 2017.

Judith Ann Brandrup Jamieson was born January 22, 1943 in Eagle Grove, Iowa to Gale and Dorothy (Draper) Brandrup. She spent her younger years in Eagle Grove attending elementary school there. Later the family moved to Fort Dodge and Judy graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High. She was united in marriage to Keith Jamieson on November 22, 1962 at the First Presbyterian Church in Fort Dodge. To this union three children where born; Scott, Shelley and Kit. Judy worked in the financial field. During her career she worked for First National Bank, Norwest Bank, First Federal Bank and finally ending her working career at Citizens Community Credit Union. Judy loved shopping and spending time with the grandchildren. Her puppy “Sadie” was also a big part of her life. Judy will always be remembered as a person with a warm heart and was loved by all that knew her.

She is survived by her husband Keith of Fort Dodge, her children; Scott (Debbie) Jamieson of Omaha, Shelley (Tony) Stravers of Norwalk and Kit (Jill) Jamieson of Ankeny, her 9 grandchildren; Joshua, Ben, Ian, Mackenzie, Adryan, Rhiannon, Kaitlyn, Connor and Chloe. She is also survived by one brother, Jack (Judy) Brandrup of Portland, Oregon.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
