Joe Terranova

Girloma Joseph Terranova Jr. 63 of Fort Dodge, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home in Fort Dodge. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 2:00 pm the Historic Bruce Funeral Home in Fort Dodge. Visitation will be Monday 5 to 7 also at the funeral home.

Girloma Joseph “Joe” Terranova Jr. was born January 7, 1953 in Webster City, Iowa to Girloma Joseph and Sally (Jetter) Terranova Sr. He grew up in Fort Dodge and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High. Joe was united in marriage to Shelly Montgomery and to this union two children were born, Erin and Eric. Joe was later united in marriage to Leann Marvin and to this union two children were born, Alanna and Tyler. Joe was a truck driver and worked the past several years for Iowa Custom Meats in Webster City where he retired in 2015. Joe's hobbies included gardening, smoking meat, playing softball, darts and fishing.

He is survived by his children; Erin (Alan) Larson of Gowrie, Eric Terranova of Otho, Alanna (James) Pallos of Fort Dodge and Tyler (Kathy) Terranova of Fort Dodge, 3 grandchildren; Payton, Lukas and Paxton, his siblings; JoAnn (Rick) Bentson of Tennessee, Jolene (Tim) Hart of Fort Dodge, JoNette Terranova of Fort Dodge, JoLinda Terranova of Fort Dodge, James (Sissy) Terranova of Badger, and Joanni (Don) Morrison of Fort Dodge. Joe is also survived by his step father Tom Brown of Fort Dodge, his special friend Kim Humphrey of Fort Dodge and many nieces and nephews and friends.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Jon.
