Jerome T. Voss

Jerome T. Voss, 57, of Fort Dodge, IA, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2019, at his apartment. Family services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family.

Jerome Timothy Voss was born June 11, 1961, in Hannibal, MO, the son of Thomas and Geisela (Wegner) Voss. He attended school at Mark Twain Senior High. On January 11, 1992, he married Victoria Schuetze, and to this union 6 daughters were born. The couple later divorced. Over the years, Jerome worked in construction as a Journeyman Iron Worker. He was a great welder and won 2 awards from Midlands Mechanical. Jerome enjoyed fishing and would look forward to the Carp City Fishing Tournament on the Missouri River. He also enjoyed camping, BBQ's, motorcycles, NASCAR, football (especially the Nebraska Huskers), reading and math. His daughters were very special to him and he cherished the time he spent with them on his boat, and his daughters remember he enjoyed making them homemade cheesecake.

Jerome is survived by his mother: Geisela Voss of Hannibal, MO; 5 daughters: Shailey of Blair, NE, Tiffany, Brittany, Kailey and Emiley – all of Tekamah, NE; twin brother: Jim Voss and wife Debbie of New London, MO; 2 nephews: James Jr. and David; 1 niece: Amy; and a great nephew: Austin.

He was preceded in death by his father: Thomas Voss; his first born daughter: Alaina Voss; and a brother: Michael Voss.
