Jean Marie Beer

Jean Marie Beer, 78, of Fort Dodge, died Sunday, December 19, 2004 at her residence.

Visitation will be held from 4 until 7 p.m. Wednesday December 22, 2004 with a time of sharing and a celebration of her life beginning at 6 p.m. at Bruce-Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Center.

Jean was born October 8, 1926 the daughter of Archie and Myrtle (Mecham) Cook in Rochester, MN. On August 29, 1946 Jean was united in marriage to Winford Beer in Blue Earth, MN.

Jean enjoyed spending time raising her family, and had an amazing talent for decorating and remodeling homes. Jean was always ready and available to help family and friends.

Those thankful for having shared in her life include her husband, Winford, three children, Brad (Denise) Beer of Fort Dodge, Vanda Lendin of Tarzana, CA, Kristi Beer of Houston, TX, four sisters, June (Jim) Glaser of Des Moines, Jane DeLaHunt of Las Vegas, Joan (Maris) Doster of Fort Dodge, Judy (David) O’Leary of Badger, three brothers, Jerry (Earlene) Cook of Carmel, IN, Jon (Helen) Cook of Mt. Pleasant, Jack (Mary) Cook of Duncombe, sister in law, Joanne Cook of Atlanta, GA, four grandchildren, Bret (Nancy) Beer, Staci (Matt) Miller, Beau Heggen, and Chloe Delepine, four great grandchildren, Bryce Beer, Drew Beer, Drake Miller, and Tehya Miller, former daughter in law, Nancy Gaffey, and former son in law, Yves Delepine, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Beer was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Jim Cook.
