James Foust

James H. Foust, 94, of Winchester, died Monday, September 9, 2013, at Winchester Medical Center.

Mr. Foust was born August 1, 1919 in Fort Dodge, IA; the son of Fred H. Foust and Cora Borgotti Foust. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a contractor and a farmer.

He married Eleanor M. Foust on May 24, 1946 in Fort Dodge. Mrs. Foust died July 1, 2006. He is survived by his sons, Raymond A. Foust and his wife, Diane of Sioux Falls, SD and Robert J. Foust, MD and his wife, Kathy of Winchester, VA; five grandchildren, Katie Prenelle and her husband, Jon of Winchester, Brittany Foust of Boulder, CO, Meredith Yost of Lincoln, NE, Ellie Foust of Brooktondale, NY and Liese Foust of Chevy Chase, MD. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester,VA.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at 11:00 am at North Lawn Cemetery in Fort Dodge, IA.
