Jack Gene Ziegler

Jack Gene Ziegler, 69, of Fort Dodge passed away on August 16, 2022 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home surrounded by family.

Jack was born September 14, 1952 in Fort Dodge, Iowa to Richard and Beverly (Stafford) Ziegler.  He attended Fort Dodge High School. On August 24, 2013 he married Cheryl.  Jack worked for years in autobody shops in Fort Dodge.

In his free time Jack enjoyed spending time in his man cave/garage and keeping a well-maintained yard.  Jack would tell the kids “Go play in the church yard and wear their grass out.”  He was brutally honest, but had a great sense of humor with it.

Jack is preceded in death by his parents, siblings Curt, Jeff and Kathy, and Infant son Carrie.  Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Cheryl; his children Corey (Angie) Pratt, Jamie (Bobi) Ziegler, and Anna Ziegler, all of Fort Dodge; Step Children Jennifer Frank, Nicole (Mark) Neal, and Rickey Hoffmeier; siblings Richard, Jim, Chris, Danny, Sue, Edward and Bill; 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
