Jack V. Pigman was born March 29, 1930 in Lehigh, Iowa to Clifford and Pearl (West) Pigman. He grew up in Lehigh and attended country schools. In 1950 He was united in mariage to Ruth Elliot. The family made their home in Fort Dodge where Jack worked at Iowa Beef for about 30 years. After living in several area towns Jack moved back to Lehigh in 2011. He was a member of the North American Hunting Club and Pheasants Forever. He enjoyed fishing.
On Sunday, August 30, 2015, Jack Pigman died at the Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge. He is survived by two children; Jack Pigman of Leesville, Louisiana and Ella Cherry of Fort Dodge, 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. He is also survived b a sister Luella Froisland of Manson. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Ruth in 1998, son Larry, daughters; Margaret, Pearl, and Deborah, sisters; June, Dolly, Mary, and Dorothy, and brother John.
A graveside service will be held at a later date.
