Helen Leuer

Helen G. Leuer, 86, of Webster City, IA, died Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at Southfield Wellness Community in Webster City. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 7, 2019, at the Christian Church on The Rock, 2175 180th Street – Fort Dodge, with her son Ron Rork officiating. Memorials may be directed to the family.

Helen Grace Carpenter was born to William L. Carpenter and Josephine M. Bebee on November 30, 1932. In 1940, after the death of her mother, she and her sister Virginia were taken to the Toledo girls home where she remained until she was 16 years old. Mr. and Mrs Wallace Rogers took her in as a foster child in Fort Dodge until she was 18 years old. She then met and married the father of her six children: Rhonda, Michael, Joyce, Patrick, Ronald and Dawn.

Helen will also be missed by her 12 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Helen was preceded in death by her mother, father and 13 siblings.
