Funeral services for Harold A. Lunn 83 of Fort Dodge will be Monday, November 18, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the Historic Bruce Funeral Home in Fort Dodge with the Rev. Edward E. Durand officiating. Visitation will be Sunday 4pm to 7pm and continue on Monday one hour prior to services. Burial will be at a later date in the Otho Cemetery.
Harold A. Lunn was born September 7, 1930 in Fort Dodge to Carl and Anna (Shoopman) Lunn. He grew up in Otho, graduating from Otho High School in 1949. Harold worked for Georgia Pacific for 14 years and then Iowa Beef for 21 years. In 1993 he retired from Webster County after working for a number of years at the Law Enforcement Center. Harold enjoyed people. Anyone that met him became his friend and he loved traveling and visiting. On November 15, 2013 Harold died at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home in Fort Dodge.
He is survived by his children; Gary Lunn of Las Vegas, NV Carol Lunn of San Diego, CA Gregory (Geri) Lunn, Dululth, MN and Lonny (Margaret) Lunn of Minneapolis, MN; six grandchildren; Ashley, Sarah, Whitney, Briana Shannon and Shayla, two great grandchildren; Caleb and Jasmine. Harold is also survived by his siblings; Frank (Connie) Lunn of Harcourt, Shirley (Carl) Zuspann of Fort Dodge, James (Patty) Lunn of Otho, and Sharon (Ron) Deaton of Casa Grande, AZ.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, brother John Lunn and sister Voncile Grell.
