Gerald Henry Marion McGuire, 84, of Fort Dodge, died Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at the Tompkins Memorial Health Center.             Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today at the First Covenant Church with the Rev. Robert Sabin officiating.  Interment will follow in the McGuire Bend Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. today at the church.             Gerald was born June 24, 1923 the son of Gilbert and Laura (Davis) McGuire in Lehigh, Iowa.              Gerald served his country in the United States Army and earned his honorable discharge.  On December 29, 1956 Gerald was united in marriage to Mildred Epperly.  To this union five children were born.             Gerald is survived by his children; Sarah (Ron) Hoefling, Leah (Les) Simpson, Rhoda (Gary) McDuffey, Priscilla (Michael) Walters, Joanna (Bart) McCaffery, one sister; Bonnie Owens, eleven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.             Mr. McGuire was preceded in death by his parents, wife; Mildred and nine siblings.
