Georgeanna Lucille Hipshur Hale, 65 of Fort Dodge, has gone to our Father in Heaven on April 12, 2007 at the Tompkins Memorial Health Center. God bless her and hold her close in his arms.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 16, 2007 at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Stephen Fagerburg officiating.  Interment will follow in the North Lawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church on Monday.

Georgeanna was born February 22, 1942 the daughter of Herman Hipshur, Sr. and Edna (Zemke) Hipshur in Fort Dodge, IA.  Georgeanna was baptized in the First Baptist Church of Detroit, MI.  She was later united in marriage to Dennis McComas.  Georgeanna later found her life partner Richard Joslin.

Georgeanna was very active in Tae Kwan Do achieving her black belt. She loved the outdoors whether she was walking, gardening, fishing or going camping. 

Those thankful for having shared in Georgeannas life include her children; Dennis, Eddy, Patti McComas, and Steven Cazelaar, one sister; Diana (Curtis) Schroeder, two brothers; Wallace Hipshur, Herman (Susan) Hipshur, Jr., cousin; Teri Wills, Uncle; Albert Zemke, and many nieces and nephews she loved dearly.

Georgeanna was preceded in death by her Grandparents; Edward and Sophronia Zemke, Mother; Edna Belvall, stepfather; Pat Belvall, Father; Herman Hipshur, Sr., Aunt Erma Booheister and Uncle Edward Zemke.

Georgeannas family would like to thank Friendship Haven for all the support and care given to Georgeanna and her family.
