Gary W. Andrews Sr.

Gary Wayne Andrews Sr., 72, of Fort Dodge, IA died March 21, 2022, at Fort Dodge Health & Rehab.  Memorial services will be held at a later date.  Memorials should be directed to the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home.

Gary was born June 27, 1949, in Evanston, Iowa, the son of William and Loretta (Grossnickle) Andrews.  He was united in marriage to Judy Marsh.  The couple later divorced. Over the years, he worked several odd jobs until his retirement. Gary enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.  He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, playing guitar and flirting with the girls in the office at Deercreek.

Gary is survived by his two sons: Gary Jr. and Ryan, six grandchildren:  Lexi, EmaLee, Michael, Jesse, Becca and Kaitlyn; three great grandchildren:  Ayva, Kai and Nova; and one brother:  Narlan.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers:  William and Keith; one sister:  Mercedes; and two siblings in infancy:  Joyce and Kenneth.

Gary will be greatly missed for his ornery sense of humor and all the women that loved him.  A special thank you to the nurses and staff at Fort Dodge Health & Rehabilitation, and also to the Hospice nurses.  Your kindness and compassion did not go unnoticed.
