Garry L. Hall

Garry L. Hall, 51, of Fort Dodge died Monday, January 16, 2006 at the Trinity Regional Medical Center, Fort Dodge.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 19, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Carmody and Rev. Doug Rushton officiating.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Interment will follow the service in North Lawn Cemetery.

Garry was born April 23, 1954 in Fort Dodge, Iowa the son of Verlin and Bonita (Andrews) Hall.  He was a graduate of Burnside High School and the Kingsway Bible College in Des Moines.  Garry spent a majority of his working years as a radio announcer for KDMI in Des Moines.  Mr. Hall was a member of the New Covenant Christian Church in Fort Dodge and was a member of the Acts Drama Troup.  Garry also spent time helping area farmers during the harvest and planting seasons.  In his free time he enjoyed playing golf and listening to music, especially gospel.

Garry is survived by his parents, Verlin Hall and Bonita Andrews; step-mom Joan Hall; children Tannica Manley and Garry Hall Jr.; sisters Penny Sharff and Julie Thompson; and a brother, Rick Hall.  He is also survived by 5 granchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the New Covenant Christian Church Building Fund.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
