Erick Adam Price, 43, of Chicago, IL, died June 23, 2004 in Chicago.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday June 30, 2004 at the St. Mark’s Episcopal Church. Inurnment will follow in the North Lawn Cemetery. The family requests memorials to the National Kidney Foundation, 6110 Executive Blvd., Rockville, MD 20852.

Erick was born April 16, 1961 the son of David William and Charlotte (Rose) Price in Fort Dodge, IA. He later graduated from the Fort Dodge Senior High School with the Class of 1979.

Erick was employed as a mechanical technician for over 21 years with the Northrop Grumman Co. in Rolling Meadows, IL.

Erick was a man who loved children; he quickly became an uncle to many that he met. He was an avid fisherman who was very enthusiastic about going musky fishing. His love for fishing became the backbone for starting his Ocean View Aquariums business.

Those thankful for having shared in Erick’s life include his parents, David and Lois Price of Oklahoma City, OK, sisters, Melina Price of Los Angeles, CA, Jennifer (Joel) Skiff of Lonsdale, MN, and Holly (Keith) Scherff of Fort Dodge, brothers, David (Dana) Price of San Francisco, CA, and Kevin (Susan) Price of Bonaire, GA, 6 step sisters, Dr. Colleen (Dr. Scott) Isdale, Judy (Rich) Reynolds, Geannie (John) Presswood, Dr. Patricia Johnson, Mary Jones, and Jolene (Jeff) Michaelson, 4 step brothers, Dr. Ronald Clawson, Kevin (Median) Clawson, and Dr. Chad (Laura) Clawson, and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Price was preceded in death by his grandparents, mother, Charlotte, and a step brother, Dan Clawson.
