Eleanor Foust

Eleanor Margaret Foust, 83, of Wharton Circle, Winchester, VA, died July 1, 2006 at the Winchester Medical Center.

Mrs. Foust was born October 10, 1922 in Fort Dodge the daughter of Robert James and Ruth Lumsden Jordison.  She was a graduate of Drake University in Des Moines.  Mrs. Foust taught in the Fort Dodge School system for 24 years until her retirement.

She married James H. Foust on May 24, 1946 in Fort Dodge.  They were married for 60 years.

Surviving are her husband, James H. Foust of Winchester; two sons, Raymond A. Foust of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Robert J. Foust of Winchester, VA; three grandchildren, Brittany, Elana, and Anneliese Foust all of Berryville, VA; and one brother, Elwood R. Jordison of Fort Dodge.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home, Fort Dodge, with Elder Ronald L. Dunsdon officiating.  Burial will follow the service in the North Lawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the funeral home on Thursday.
