Edwin Dean Baedke

Edwin “Dean” Baedke, 73, of Fort Dodge, IA, died Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at Unity Point Trinity Regional Medical Center. There will be no services.

Edwin was born March 5, 1947, in Fort Dodge, the son of Edwin Henry and Juanita (Gibson) Baedke. He grew up in the Fonda area. Following High School graduation he continued his education at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, IA. He lived in New York for the majority of his life. Dean was good with numbers and worked as an Accountant until his retirement. Dean was a Christian man who enjoyed playing cards, watching TV, cookouts, sitting outdoors and going to Brushy Creek. He also enjoyed casino trips and playing Black Jack. Dean was a humorous guy who liked to laugh. He was quiet, friendly and charismatic.

Dean is survived by his sister: Cheryl Baedke of Fort Dodge.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
